Four Months of Travel

Four Months of Travel

It is hard to believe that today is my four-month anniversary of traveling!

Words cannot describe how incredible my adventure has been so far. Throughout my Europe trip this past fall, I explored many new places on my bucket list. From the breathtaking Scottish Highlands to the picturesque Italian coast, there is so much to see on a continent filled with not only architecture and history but also natural beauty. I think I can now say that I have hit off the top places on my European bucket list. Of course, I have still only scratched the surface and cannot wait to return to Europe to explore more amazing cities and natural scenery.

From Europe, I flew on my first business class flight for the long journey to the Land Down Under! It was truly a step up from any other flight I have ever taken.

Life in Australia has been nothing short of amazing. During my two and a half months here, I have met loads of people from all over the world, including the U.K., Germany, Netherlands, France, Canada, and the U.S. I am happy to say I now have a second family here in Melbourne. I have been living in a hostel, and although I have to share a room with eleven other people, I am meeting new friends every week. It truly feels like I am reliving my freshman year of college. Since my visa allows me to work while traveling, I have taken up casual work in order to be able to afford this lifestyle.

I have had many new adventures in Australia. I have visited beautiful beaches, mountain ranges, and have seen wildlife that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. In Melbourne, I have seen the iconic landmarks, including the Brighton Bathing Boxes, the Victoria State Library, and the street art of the city’s alleyways. I have experienced an array of architectural styles in the Land Down Under, from European-inspired to modern and cutting-edge. Australia is a melting pot of many different cultures, and that is definitely seen in its architecture.

Although I have already been on this adventure for quite some time, it is really only the beginning. I am visiting New Zealand next month for a three and a half week trip. I will be exploring the entire country, visiting its natural wonders and living the adventure lifestyle to the fullest. In addition, I am in the process of planning my first major travel trip within Australia along the entire east coast of the country. In May, I will be taking a side trip to Bali with one of my favorite YouTubers: Where’s Poppy. As I have mentioned before, she is one of my inspirations for beginning the nomadic lifestyle, and she had a spectacular adventure in Bali. I cannot wait for her to share this experience with me and some other subscribers.

And of course, more new adventures bring more new blog posts. I still have many posts coming from Europe, but I am planning to jump ahead to some more recent adventures. I will be releasing a new post about my experience in business class, followed by my first Australia posts. Since each post takes time to write, it will be a while before I cover every adventure. But I am aiming for at least one new post per week.

In the mean time, stay tuned and happy travels!
